Nashville, Tenn. – July 1, 2020 – Metro Nashville Public Schools has launched the MNPS Open Data Portal. The platform is designed to demonstrate the school district’s continued commitment to transparency to families, the community, and key stakeholders.
The portal will be updated quarterly and does not represent all data publicly available from MNPS. However, it will serve as a hub for housing the most requested data, such as:
- Enrollment/Demographics
- Student Assessment data
- Attendance data
- Behavior data
The goal of the portal is to serve as a tool for the community to explore, visualize and analyze education data to build awareness and support informed decision-making and engagement in order to improve educational outcomes for all students.
Additional requests for documents can still be requested by visiting the public records website at https://www.mnps.org/open-records-requests.
