Bringing the Caribbean vibes to Nashville, Riddim N’ Spice is on the rise.
Riddim N’ Spice is new Caribbean restaurant in North Nashville. The restaurant started as a popular food truck that was often parked at popular local events. The location opened up earlier this year, and has been gaining more attention over time.
When you walk into the restaurant, the big open space and music will set you in the mood for some good food. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and nicely decorated.
What stands out about this restaurant is the variety of Caribbean food that is offered. Options of Jamaican, Haitian, Puerto Rican rice, jerk chicken, as well as many different sides and toppings are available.
There are 2 main options; Island Bowls which is similar to a Chipotle bowl. You get to select your choice of rice, meat, and toppings to go in your bowl. The other option is the Jerk Chicken Plates. With the plates, you get the option of white or dark meat, the potion you want, and how hot you want it. The plates also come with sides.
Another popular offer are the in-house made natural juices. Ask the cashier to sample all the flavors before finding the perfect one. Two flavors that stand out are the Mango Passionfruit and the Pineapple Coconut.
The restaurant also sells dessert such as rum cake and plantain puffs.
