New Destination, Five Points Alley Shops, Now Open

NASHVILLE (December 22, 2020) – In the backdrop of devastating tornados that ruined several East Nashville locales and amidst a global pandemic, the site of one longtime community staple has birthed something new – the Five Points Alley Shops.

Located at the site of the former Art & Invention Gallery and Idea Hatchery at 1106 and 1108 Woodland Street, the Five Points Alley Shops are a one-stop destination for gifts, goods, and garments that showcase the original and creative flare of East Nashville. The space serves as a hub and incubator for small and creative businesses – carrying on the 19-year legacy of gallery and hatchery that came before it.

Five Points Alley Shops is owned by Christian Paro, proprietor of the C615 enterprise, which operates several spaces in East Nashville. Paro assumed ownership of the spaces that housed Art & Invention Gallery and Idea Hatchery in late 2019.

“I am excited to debut our latest concept, and I am proud to showcase the incredible small businesses and creatives who decided to open their doors at the Five Points Alley Shops,” Paro said. “Despite everything that has happened in our world, we are committed to East Nashville, and we are even more committed to creating opportunities for the creative class and independent business owners to thrive.”

The Five Points Alley Shops joins other East Nashville spaces under the successful C615 brand, including collaborative office space campus Center 615, production space Studio 615, and the Main Street Gallery. Like those small businesses and artisans who use other C615 space to work and showcase their wares, each of the 10 destinations in the Five Points Alley Shops are locally owned and independently operated.
