Nashville, Tenn (April, 23, 2020) – Mayor John Cooper released a four-phase plan to reopen the city’s economy during today’s COVID-19 news conference.
The mayor’s grid outlines an economic reopening with public health benchmarks required to advance to each phase. Moving onto to another phase is contingent on a decline or stability of COVID-19 cases over a 14-day period.
According to Cooper the reopening of the city will be “data driven, note date driven.” While he did not release when the reopening of the city would begin he was quoted in saying that “we’re working toward Phase One reopening now.”
